Just moved to new house and I'm planning on kitting out the garage. Has anyone used Big Dug shelving systems?

I'm thinking of a heavy duty workbench and shelving, are they any good?

Ta!

We got some 4-tier shelves from them as part of a refurb of a college's art dept - absolutely fine. The chipboard shelf itself is thinner than the Dexion-type stuff (more like 1/2inch than 3/4) but still seems quite robust when stacked up with art materials of various shapes, sizes and weights. BigDug were very easy to deal with and delivery was only a few days.

Can you scaveng a a kitchen worktop for a workbench ?

4 x 2x4s screwed to the walls round a corner, one low , one high. Screw & glue worktops ontop of 2x4 with 1 supporting leg, end up with low shelf and high level worksurface.

Scruff, I've built workbenches in the past, but this stuff looks nice and tidy and isn't expensive at all - plus, it's orange and "Park Blue" so it matches my tools 😀
