My google skills seem to be failing me here so I've turned to STW.
I need a riser / shelf that will sit on the desk and provide a second level for some equipment to fit on. Ideally this would be at a height of around 300mm.
I have found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222071430189 which is almost perfect other than the height.
Anyone know of some place that sells what Im after or at least some place that sells the bits to acheive it?
Shoe rack?
More sensibly, I find Google image search very handy for this sort of thing. Much easier to scan a load of photos than to read a load of descriptions.
Make one? I used a shelf board (without wall fixings) and four feet from a bathroom cabinet. Then you can make it exactly like you need!
kitchen cupboard or under-sink shelf unit ?
(unless it needs to be as pretty as the one you posted)
... or just bodge/bolt something below those existing "leg" bits on the ebay one
Thanks chaps but I need it to look bought not made as it is some what customer facing. I have found some 300mm high legs, just need to find a decent looking top to go on it...
I have an IKEA uppy downy desk, the electric one..it's dead nifty but you can't get a shelf for it. What I did was to order a shelf from Ikea that uses the same veneer and some feet for a kitchen cabinet and made my own.
It's now super nifty and still looks awsome.
Are you anywhere near an IKEA

I used the the smaller JÄRPEN shelf and CAPITA legs to make a monitor riser like this one
Chaps that was really helpful! Got a couple of the shelves from ikea and a selection of 150mm and 300mm Rothley legs from b and q comming for Monday.
