Er, that's it. Posting because I know everyone likes a good shed thread.

Yutu 2 (China's moon rover, best pronounced ala Norn Ireland "yay tay tay") has spotted something that looks like a shed and is driving over for a closer look, which will take two months winter tyres presumably not having been fitted.

https://www.space.com/china-yutu-2-moon-rover-cube-shaped-object-photos

Doesn't look much to shout about to be honest

I reckon when they get over there they will find the flimsy moon lock will have been bashed off and all the moon bikes nicked by filthy moon thieves.

This could be the most significant find (shed-related) in the history of humanity. I feel it's not being taken as seriously as it should be.

The rover will make it over and inside will be a grumpy old git in a Pringle golf jumper complaining "all these robots, coming over here and can't get a blimmin minutes peace!"

The post was meant to be the fridge from a Grand day out skiing, but I'm crap at uploading an image.

So by late Feb we'll have images of the Clangers' bongo magazine stash coming through?

I was going to say it's the set of the new Wallace and Grommit film but was beaten to the reference.

Well there are no hedges on the moon.

Must be from that famous astronaut Arthur Jackson

But there’s only one!

The other one is behind it.

Perspective might be causing them difficulties in judging how big it is. I’m guessing it’s a hangar for this.

Always the way with these AirBnB places - they look good in the pics but you can't see the main road round the other side and it's a hell of a hike to the pub.

@turboflard

I remember that front page. The best bit was the letters page. They'd previuodky mentioned that an spillage in a cloning lab had lead to an accidental release of several hundred Hitler clones. People were writing in with sitings

They'll probably get there and discover George Clark waxing lyrical over it.

2 months!? Its only over there ^.

I wait with baited breath. To be fair, if it was a Borg base, being assimilated would be better than more of this covid crap.

Actually it's only two days (lunar).

Are there any bikes in it?

It's bike Jim, but now as we know it?

It could be, with the dusty and stony surface and gravity a sixth of the earth's, that the moon is the one place in the solar system where fat bikes make sense? In fact perhaps that's where they've all gone?

I appreciated this headline... and the sudden wave of Bum Butter sales.

I am genuinely interested in what they find on the moon.
