I've just had a big shed built, finally. Yay!
The floor is ply, what would be good to paint it with to protect it and keep it looking nice-ish?
Either paint (just floor paint?) Or a decent covering of some sort? Nothing too fancy.
Cheers
If you’re going to paint it, best use a fine screed or levelling compound. Facing the same dilemma myself in my new garage/workshop which is currently unfinished due to material shortages of metal roofing and cladding
Thanks but it’s only for storage, not workshop duties so anything like that I think is overkill.
You could paint it with whatever product you've used on the exterior. Personally, I'd just leave it - it's flat, it should be dry, just sweep it out if it gets dirty.
I laid the cheapest contract broadloom carpet I could find in mine, its been really good.
I think if it's for storage I'd used whatever exterior wood stuff you've got on the outside or leave plain. I'd be wary of painting it or sealing completely as it could be exposed to more damp so I wouldn't want to trap moisture in the floor.
If you planned on using it as a workshop it could be nicer to have a lighter colour to make it brighter and easy to find dropped stuff. But for storage probably a waste.
Buy some of those cheap interlocking garage floor tiles or just see if you can find some cheap vinyl or off cuts?

I assume dove biker missed that this is a ply floor.
Given it’s ply I wouldn’t paint it. The ply already gives a good, level wear surface. I’d leave it. If you paint it it’s something to wear/maintain.
