Looking for a motion sensor shed alarm. Want something ****in loud inside the shed to frighten them off, but also sounds outside to hopefully wake the dog up. (Not that he’ll be much use in a combat situation).
Any recommendations?

Have you got power in there?

I've fitted a domestic alarm system in mine - PIR and door/window contacts. Keypad/panel above the door and bell box inside on the far wall.

Didn't put the bell box outside as thieves will just drill it and fill it with expanding foam.

I've been in the shed when it triggered and it's frightening 😂

if your bike is in there make sure you get a ground anchor and a 19mm chain too.

Could you install an alarm on your house instead and link a wireless PIR in the shed to the house alarm?

i have a domestic alarm in my shed, its loud inside when it goes off but from the outside with the door shut you can hardly hear it.
most thieves are too brazen to care, its still a good idea to fit one but double it up with a Nest camera or something similar.

Nah, just bought panel & battery, bell box, pir, door contacts and cable from my wholesalers - not expensive - I'll post a pic of the invoice (it's the Texecom stuff). Fitted one in my shed and just bought one for the summer house.

I'm a spark, but they are easy to wire up - instruction manual walks you through it.

In all seriousness, I'm not doing much else. I'm sure being in someone's shed complies with the required distancing.

Anyone want their shed alarm fitting? 😂
