You, yes you can jet off to Spain fueled by your own poo!
Finally a fuel designed personally for me.
(Brussels not included.)
Firm develops jet fuel made entirely from human poo

A great way to use what is otherwise a literal waste product. However, the global amount of human poo produced annually would only produce 5% of the fuel needed for global air travel.
I read a detailed article about this very thing the other day.
Then we all need to poo more. Curry and kebabs for all!
Just had a thought, Ryanair could develop in flight refueling!
When the tanks get a little low, whip the passengers into an orderly queue for the toilets and threaten them with an extra charge if they, erm, don't "contribute".

They'd have to buy bigger planes and enlarge the toilet cubicles.....have you ever tried to get into the bog on a 737?
Bigger planes and bigger Throne rooms add weight and require more fuel, I'm not sure the maths adds up, unless ryan air start giving away free ham and cheese paninnis.
This sort of story is perhaps funded somewhere in the background by an aviation industry acting in a nefarious manner. Its a way to kick the can down the road by insinuating it will be easier to move the aviation industry to net zero than it will in fact be. An irrelevance to fudge the issue. And the BBC should be ashamed of itself for not including any context / scientific realities in the story. Spreading the story is part of the problem not part of the solution.

I was stuck in Colombo airport on the tarmac with the aircon and fridges off (the ice for the gnt had melted) while they medic'd a journo that got shot in the head onto the flight.
The resultant warmed food did mean the facilities were struggling to cope.

Well they've been taking the piss for years
^^ Well done you. 👍😁
Better saved for agricultural purposes IMO. Dried sewage sludge is a great fertiliser.
