wondering if you can actually see who has bought shares in a particular company?

As far as I'm lead to believe if a substantial amount of shares have been purchased which equates to a % of the Company then this needs to be disclosed, also any Director share dealings need to be disclosed.

As swelper.

I use Halifax, In the research centre You can view director deals and large transactions, quite interesting to see the size of the holdings of the board for the company I work for!

thanks, found what i needed to know, the company has just opened a share save, and the share price has risen a bit in the last month, the month they have used to calculate the discount.

I was curious as to why the price might have risen, it seems some directors have bought some shares...
