Shameless request for a few £'s
My wife is running the Edinburgh marathon 29th May. Her training hasn't been easiest for her after fracturing her arm in January. She is raising money for bowel cancer. Bowel cancer has touched both our families quite hard over the last year or so.
Any small amount greatfully recieved. You can donate here https://www.justgiving.com/Susan-Milne2
Thanks

Oh FFS how am I ever going to afford a new set of tyres if people keep wanting money for cancer charities. Just a small one then 🙂
Many thanks Jay L

You've always been a big hitter in my eyes
I feel we need an Aspirant Big Hitter program, where aspiring young middle aged IT professionals can be mentored into full big hitter status.....
It wasn't much but no problem. Hopefully a few more STWers will put a few quid in.

and for a small donation. this can be achieved. 😉
Many thanks to those that have donated, Mrs b is amazed that total strangers part with their money to sponsor her. She doubted that she would get £100 let alone the amount she has so far. Shes now on her taper (marathon on 29th) feeling a bit lost not running the distances she has done, just some gym work to keep her moving, she had a hamstring twinge that did worry her but that seems to have settled. Really proud of her and her efforts to get this far.
Thanks again
B
Update for those that sponsored my wife.
She completed the marathon in 4:36:43 (garmin timing) absolutely chuffed for her as she didn't believe she could get under 5hrs.
Many thanks to those that sponsored her and well done to all the other runners who have had their own individual races over the weekend at Edinburgh.
Great effort.
