You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
A very good friend of mine is... well, in his own words:
My mum has started chemo and is less than impressed at losing her hair, where as I have had an abundance of hair for many years now and she's always been less that impressed at that too,
Out of a mix of solidarity and to cheer her up, I agreed to get my long locks removed and whilst I can't give my hair to her, I can make sure it goes to an excellent cause, The Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other conditions (more than 2000 a year).
...
But the hair is only half of the story, each wig costs £550 to make, so I'm attempting to raise money to contribute to that cost.
I'd appreciate it if folk could at least take the time to read the page, and if you can find some pocket change that would be fab. I've known Glenn for a very long time and I know how much this means to him.

(incidentally, I haven't told him yet that I've reposted this here)
Donated, please post pics when he realises hes already exceeded his target 3 fold and hopefully more when others on here chuck a couple of quid in.
Thank you.
I told him his target was a low bar.
Getting close to 300%
Apologies for bumping this but the day is near.
Sorted.👍
Also missed this first time around, donated.
Have seen the difference a wig makes to a kid's mental state when I was taking my dad to chemo sessions, something so simple can really improve their chances and/or make their last days more pleasant.
Done - bump
Great work. I'm sure he'll love having short hair for a change 🙂
Today's the day.

£46 away from 500% raised. Can we push it over the line?
Stupid long Facebook link with before and after photos.
