Any advice welcome though naturally I have the trip adviser top 10 things to do already covered.
Many thanks
But Euros now cos they ain't getting any cheaper.....
Ha Good call, we have plenty from our last trip
You probably already have the Alcazar on your list, but it's lovely anyway.
Go and have a fino or three at some of the old bars there too.
The big wooden bridge in the centre opens, or used to, until 1AM. Something like 3 Euros to go to the top. Well worth it. Worth going just to try and work out how it was constructed.
The Cathedral is extremely impressive.
Plaza de Espana is wonderful
Patio de las Muñecas - Real Alcázar is a great gem in the city
And to basically go from bar to bar having tapas in each (as its fairly cheap but quality)
Enjoy!
Oranges.
El Rinconcillo, a proper old-style tapas bar. It was featured in Rick Stein’s Spanish series and is great fun. Saville is VERY touristy, but El Rinconcillo seemed to be full of locals when we went.
^^an absolute must. Great museum stuffed with Roman artefacts.
I was in Seville in 1999, roaming around the old town for tapas around midnight. The food was excellent, some pork in a roll thing I had. I would go back for that.
When we went it was a bit disappointing that we only saw (fellow) tourists or people who worked in the tourist trade. And everything shut at 11. We did manage to get directed to a bar that opened late and seemed to be frequented by bar & restaurant staff after work. A bit of impromptu flamenco happened which felt a bit genuine. It was June though, maybe it's a bit more like a real city in December.
I judge towns by whether there's a good ironmonger there. If there isn't, it's just a tourist trap.
went to a long beach near there, was very hot in october and really nice
Seville! Ah, there's this amazi[delete]sorry just remembered I'm banned from replying.
The tapas bar watty mentions - do that- the staff will be quite rude, part of its “charm”. The food was amazing when we went.
Just enjoy yourself I never try to follow what people say you should do. Think rude staff will be short lived. Spain is going to up the minimum wage by 22%. About time they benefited from the money the tourist trade brings in.

and yet you still did, I know you can do better than this
Thank you all
Lonja Del Barranco is really nice for a few hours, then across the bridge and to the left is a street full of bars which are all good as they're away from the main tourist area.
The lovely lass in our hotel gave us a map and explained where to go and where not, which was really helpful as I found the city a nightmare to navigate!
A hair cut. 😉
