I wonder if any of you can advise on a good book for my dad. He's 70 and retires at the end of the month, but hates sitting idle and expressed an interest in using his many years of knowledge to supply car spares, on line.
If you've read a "start an e-business" type books that aren't aimed at idiots or people who don't use a computer regularly, and think its a good read with plenty of useful advice, then please let me know!
thanks in advance,
Jonathan
to be honest amazon is a good a place as any to start looking, try searching for 'e business' and filter the results by 'best selling' (you'll see theres a couple of 'dummys guide to...' for instance). also worth checking up via the reader reviews.
whilst not strictly related, i bought and read, after reading about in on stw, timothy ferris '4 hour work week' and although very american does have some interesting advice/ideas on setting up e businesses.
