I've been contracting for the last couple of years - set up as PAYE with the recruitment agency who manage HR on behalf of the end client. I have a new contract with the same client and planning on moving to a Ltd to fulfil this contract.

I have an accountant who specialises in contractors/freelancers who can help me with the finances and although I think I'm compliant I'm also looking at people who offer IR35 contract reviews and insurance in case the contract is found to be in breach.

So far I've found Abbey Tax, QDOS and Bauer & Cottrell. All seem ok and similar in price. Anyone have any experience of any of these 3?

Or indeed - HMRC offer a contract review service which, if they agree the contract is outside of IR35, will negate the need for insurance...

Cheers

Before paying someone else for an IR35 review, have you assessed yourself using the HMRC guidelines. It's a pretty simple scoring system.
