I have started a series of paintings telling the story of a couples relationship over time and was thinking of doing a couple more to add to it.
There are four at the moment starting with sharing an umbrella where the couple first meet; then moonlight where they first kiss; then Grande Vacance where they first holiday; finally Evening on the Beach where they have their first baby with them.

What do you think I should show next?
Are there some extra paintings I can slip between the existing ones to extend the story?
Are they aimed at a specific couple or just telling 'a story' through painting to sell as a set to anybody?
If the former and individual to a particular couple then fair enough but if not I think the top two are too similar in scene.
You could do one of them catching each others eyes for the first time - assuming that isn't the first one.
Or two individual ones of singledom and massive smiley energetic images as they enjoy life doing what they want before the 'give and take' that a relationship brings ..... maybe not an option for true love birds lol.
Maybe a family gathering, like Christmas where both sides get together round a table for the Christmas meal, or have a snowball fight each side of the road/garden.
Then one later on with the kid sleeping and two parents in silhouette arm in arm watching into the doorway. Could be a bit creepy that one, so replace the sleeping with a kid playing sport and being watched over.
Then one waving the kid off into adulthood and finishing with the kid alone in happiness - bringing it complete circle for them to start their own life of misery happiness.
PS. I've thought about this too long now.
I look at the first two and assumed they were meant to be the same location, a special place for them?
Although P1 is trees in blossom and P2 is in winter, in which case they need to get a shift on. 8-9 months from meeting to kiss!!

And since to look at things in bloom, fifty springs are little room...
