Looking for some pointers for a friend who's looking to relocate from Hong Kong back to the UK, probably London. He's a senior level IT bod, at a sort of Head/Director of IT Operations/Infrastructure level. He's finding it a little hard to find something as most people just look at the Hong Kong element and totally overlook him, which is plain silly.
So, does anyone have any contacts in either the search/recruitment side of things, or know of any other useful contacts or companies? STW Kudos points to anyone who can help out! Thanks in advance, as ever.
Does he like bikes, can he hack PhP?
If so STW are looking 😉
I have a friend who is one of the tech architects for these people
www.monitise.com

I know of a top level position in international stationery sales if he's interested. Apparently the other big player in the market has become a bit lazy, poncing around in ski resorts, has been at the magistrates court for taking upskirt photos of female cyclists south of the Thames and the main competitor is looking to take advantage. 🙂
😀 @ DD as per!
Thanks, Hustler, will sound him out re that one. Appreciated.
My brother does high ranking IT/Architecture hires for Cooper Burns.
Send me an email if you want flashy and I'll forward on his details.
HSBC might well be interested given that they're a bit global.

Thanks for all your suggestions, folk. The hive mind delivers again.
As someone looking at this sort of level role they dont seem to be advertised on the open market often. Networking seems to be the way forward, difficult from abroad but at senior level he should have reasonable opportunities to deal with suppliers / clients
