Evening...
i need to send some quite expensive bits to Thailand, i need to send them insured and trackable so who should i use?
cheers
FedEx or UPS. Royal Mail will get them there too but tracking is not as good.
looks like those chaps used to be.... er....
i wasnt going to use royal mail... used to work for them so know their tracking effectively stops at the uk borders... looks like i'll use ups then. cheers
^Stickman does get everywhere, even on a bike forum!
DHL
FedEx
UPS
The above three have offices all over Asia so most reliable in my opinion.
Forget Royal Mail as they do not do tracking beyond UK as per daftvader.
well ups and dhl wont take knives... fedex is just bloody expensive.... any other suggestions?
I'm not sure who I'd use nut would want it tracked the entire way. The chance of things arriving is 50:50 IME.
Is the receiver clear about the extortionate import duties? The protectionism here is unlike anything else short of N. Korea.
You might get some better prices through this lot

Most of the proper couriers do good tracking, I have 3 things on the way at the moment -
Royal Mail - Tracking Latest update: It's on its way
Skynet(???) - 10 May 16 16:00 London - UNITED KINGDOM In Transit to Destination So basically left the UK on Monday and hasn't been seen since
Then good old Oz Post (the slower and less effective version of RM)
In transit Processed through Australia Post facility 10:50am Wed 11 May Sunshine West, VIC
So left Melbourne on Wednesday Morning and not appeared anywhere since...
The proper ones I've had a blow by blow account of the 3-12 stops the packages make coming UK to Oz
