Are they new nokia lumias?
See this linky

If they are older nokia's on symbian platform you'll need the sms message centre set up.

Picture messaging might not be enabled by default Ton. If you head over to the support page on the O2 website, they have online / live support (the Chat Online box top left) - you just have to ask them to enable it. They'll ask for your wife's number and the password on the account as part of the conversation. It also might involve manually updating some settings depending on your phone, but they'll usually talk you through the steps.

In the meantime, could you just send via bluetooth if you're both in the same place? Saves using your message allowance too.

On t-mobile, you have to send an mms using the sim so that they know it can receive mms - so worth trying her sending you one to see if that fixes it.

Bollox since when? Been trying to do that since the first whyphone and it won't work via Bluetooth. Installed Bump and it does...but 'normal' methods of transfer don't work.

When you put your O2 SIM in a phone that doesn't have the O2 settings, we automatically send you them so that you can send picture messages and use internet on your mobile. Please save and activate them if asked. If you have any problems with the settings, try switching your mobile on and off.

If you need to get settings again, text ACTIVE to 2020.

Did she save or open, has she rebooted her phone since ?
