Sent a couple of smaller parcels with RM airmail ok but bigger parcels with Parcelforce would have cost loads.

So wondering if there are any reliable cheaper alternatives people have used?

TIA

As long as it's not to Russia, any of the middleman companies - parcelmonkey, interparcel, parcel2go etc, can sort it.
Just measure it, weigh it and you'll get an automatic quote with a list of services.

Cheers, I'll look into those.
Anyone else used any of those mentioned or others?

Send quite a few, Airsure is about £12-15 for smaller packets Fedex - 1kg in a box to west europe is about £29.

Depends how big/where to.

I'm always shocked at how expensive it is to send parcels from the UK. Even from Denmark, where everything is hideously expensive, it only costs about 20 quid to send 2kg within the EU
