Mother in law has either been robbed or lost her purse. Probably lost to be honest! Anyway she needs us to get her some money across quickly. We’ve spoken to her so it’s definitely not a scam. What’s the best way to do it?
Cheers
TS
Where is she, a few of us live in Spain on here.
My uk bank and Spanish bank allow me to send someone cash, ie, they collect it from somewhere, I assume a non bank, sorry I ve never used it.
Western Union would allow her to pick up cash you send. Most larger towns have an agent.

Are you sure she hasn’t been coerced into saying that by a scam artist?
PayPal?
Assuming she is on holiday there then Western Union is pretty good normally
If she is at a decent hotel then they may even advance her a little on her credit card if they already have it
amex (if she has one) can issue an emergency replacement card within 24 hours anywhere in the world. doesn't get her cash but gets her spending. Otherwise her hotel might give her a loan, or western union

This, someone on here might be able to help out.
We used Transfer Wise, now called Wise to transfer money when paying to go to BasqueMTB

Though it's not abundantly clear if you are trying to get physical cash to her or transfer to an account. Physical cash, no idea.
I volunteer to drive a suitcase full of cash down there in the van if you want. I'll take my bike and make a holiday or it.
Western Union is a good shout. Her travel insurance might be able to help too.
Not sure where she is on holiday but I'm Madrid-based and happy to help in any way I can.
In the UK, some banks can do a cash advance through a cashpoint - there's a button to press, then you put in a code they have sent you. Does that not work abroad.

Western Union.
As I found out when both my daughters lost both their bank cards on the same day in Thailand.
WU was easy and a life saver.
Thanks folks - some good ideas up there. D has transferred some money via Western Union so fingers crossed that’s it sorted.
Thanks for the offers of help too from those staying in Spain, might take you up
On it next time 🥺🤣
TS.
Revolut ?
She can access a virtual card in no time and use that via her phone.
You can transfer her the money she needs.
In fact - you may get away with setting up a single account, to which you add money, and then give her the card details.
(It's what I do with my boys),
