Can anyone tell me the best way to send a 52inch by 3inch long parcel to New Zealand? Bloody airline wouldn't let me take my new bow home and its stuck in the UK.

Thanks

FedEx, Dahl etc probably your best bet, albeit not cheap.

Stick it on a boat and wait, probably still cost £100

You could go to a fishing shop and buy a plastic rod tube (assuming it's straight enough)...the ends have a cap which you could tape up securely and post it home.

Already packed in a length of drain pipe. I am back in NZ and the bow is at my sisters. I need to get basics sorted, she will do the rest. Thanks for the suggestions, parcel2go looks go with the door to door option.

Trans Global Express is what I used to send some stuff to Oz, worked out way cheaper than anyone else. Quick use of their quote thing gives a price of around £45 with UPS (if I've entered the details correctly!)

We used TransGlobalExpress to send our road bikes to NZ and they were very good indeed when I messed up the order. Also way cheaper than anyone else I found.
