so im riding the london 100, and currently have a road bike which i am trying to sell. however the bike i want is a look 675 but i cant afford it. would you sell your mountain bike to fund a new better fitting road bike?
or not? i cant get credit as i have a rubbish credit rating.
No, you'll always lose money.
I'll wager there is little wrong with your current bike anyway.
It's not like you need a £3,000+ bike just to do a century ride.
well my foot overlaps the front wheel and my knees sometimes hit the bars when out of the saddle climbing.
so id wager it is a bit small.
So buy a bike that fits, and that you can afford. 🙂
MInd you I'm a mountainbiker, not a roadie POMB. 😆
(or similar) + a new headset and swap all the bits over.
