So after successfully swapping the front door lock to an Avocet ABS I want to swap the back doors to matched locks.
It's a set of double doors - I can get one lock out no problems, but the other side is leaving me scratching my head abit.
This door locks top & bottom:

Have had the handle off but there is still something holding it.
Nothing obvious through the frame for a retaining screw.
Do I need to take the strike plate off the door and see if it's under there?
Or am I missing something obvious?
Thanks
I'd take that metal plate off. Euro cylinders are held in place with a screw that would normally be somewhere around that plate.
You might need to call a locksmith.
Don't worry about trying to get one during the Corona crisis, I hear they are key workers.

Just how long have you waited for this thread to come along?
It'll be the same as the one you've done, to the best of my knowledge it's a standard, there's no other way of securing them. Presumably the screw is under that plate.
Thanks all.
Sussed it out now.
Took the plate off and the retaining screw is about 30mm further down - can just see it through the hole.
Need to take the extension piece of the side of the door - held on with 100mm tech screws - to get to it.
New locks now ordered to match the front door.
