I've got one but I want it wider by about 2ft. Naturally I can deal with cutting and welding the roof structure no problem but the concrete panels appear to be magic. They are about 1.75" thick, about 7ftx2ft, and are apparently just bolted together at their sides flat surface to flat surface. This means that to extend by the 2ft I just need 2 more sections and the roof mod. Nice. But how the hell do the walls stay erect when you remove the roof structure? They're not bolted into the floor and they appear to rest upon the concrete base rather than fit into a slot, so what gives them stability?
The roof and corners gives them stability. I found this out the hard way when I un-bolted the roof steels on mine! It nearly ended badly............
dont forget to used the approved disassembly technique:
Seems like a bit of a daft way of getting rigidity and stability - one of those bolts fails the whole bloody wall would come down! Still, makes the adjustment a lot easier!
Stoner - that goes through me every time I watch it!
