I've been looking on ebay for a 10" tilting arbour table saw in the south of England on and off for a year. a half decent one rather than a tinny pressed steel one. Seen old Wadkins go for reasonlbe money that needed converting to singlephase. Every time one comes up on ebay within geographical range it either goes for silly money or I palce a bid and am sniped by 1 or 2 quid because the auction ends while I'm at work or out.
I'd also rather go look and buy rather than buying blind.
Do you look at auction houses? If a tool shop fold, often the whole lot goes to auction.

Yep. Well at least a local general auction when I can get along, picked up my lathe there. Never made it to a closeing sale though. I've looked them up but always missed the date or too far. Need to keep more of an eye out.
