How much would a second hand aluminium macbook pro be worth.
13-inch: 2.26GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB Memory
160GB hard drive
I dunno, but I'm after a second hand MacBook if you know of one going.
basically I'm trying to find a alu macbook as cheap as poss, so I can sell my NC10 and white macbook.
Whats your budget oxnop I'm sure I can find you something. Although it does seem to be the lesser of two evils buy off apple or ebay, or even gumtree 😡
Yeah, I'm looking every day on eBay for deals.
I'm not even too bothered about the pro - a "recent ish" MacBook would suffice.
Ideally wouldn't want to spend more than £400.

For £400 your really looking at white/black macbooks, alu macbooks seem to get a fair bit more. I would offer to sell you mine but the airport is playing up at the mo and until I can get my bro to have a look at it I'm not happy to sell.
Yeah I'm not expecting to get the alu model (pro) for £400!
My mate went skiing for 3 wks and left me his 2mth old pro- I always said I would never have a mac but within 10mins of booting up I was sold!
Good luck with your search though - if you see anything I might be interested in just drop me a line. And I'll do the same.
wow, just had a look on ebay even the white ones are still hitting £500.
i know of a place where you can get your hands on the new macbook pro MB990 for £795........ 😉
where is that from epo i was hoping to nip under £700 from a reputable source or even less if from ebay.
Dixons travel @ the aiport, i work there! 😉
how about this for your pricerange.......

of course prices always fall, eventually!
Hmmm so £750 for a MBP is more than reasonable.
Took the plunge macbook pro basic version £749. That should see me through until i can get a desk top with bit more kick.
i can get those too tails! 😉
I read about a really good trick with dixons travel, apprently they still pay VAT so you buy the laptop then ask for VAT reciept then claim that back as well, so they must be like £600 for a £1000 computer.
if your vat registered, yes if not it'll do you no good
