You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Afternoon chaps.
Anyone who can give me some advice around sealing the cellar walls in my Victorian mid terrace. I have decided to try and make it look more appealing in a bid to sell the house, but the cellar hasn't been worked on in years and the damp has got to the brickwork.
I'm not looking to damp proof the whole area as I realise that's a bit more specialist,I am just looking to seal the crumbling red bricks before painting over - assumingly some sort of masonry paint would be best?
Any advice gratefully received?
Cheers FJ.
white cellar paint is substantial enough to mask things for a while.
Holds back efflorescence OK.

I used it on my cellar refurb on a scruffy inner wall that had a DPC injected into it.
EDIT: on the left wall here:

Thanks Stoner.
That looks like just the kind of thing I need.
