We've got a spot of damp appearing in one corner of our upstairs ceiling. I haven't been up in the loft to check yet but it looks, from the outside, as if a tile may have lifted and possibly left a tear in the felt.
What would be the best way to seal this up; would something like Flashband (a sort of bitcumen coated copper foil) work, and could in be applied on the underside of the felt from the roof space or will I need to acquire a rather long ladder?
I'm quite the numpty when it comes to DIY.
