I flagged up an issue with the dark theme a little while ago and was told they were considering doing away with the site setting and just following the system. I wonder if that's what's changed? I've lost the alternate-coloured rows.

I've tracked it down I think. It's nothing to do with desktop/mobile, it's specifically the dark theme which is affected. Disable dark theme in account/preferences and it's fine. Though my retinas aren't.

I must say I’m liking the monochrome look, with no alternating horizontal stripes. The minimalist aesthetic is very much to my taste. When I was working as a finished artist and book designer, the mantra was very much ‘creative use of white space’, instead of the ‘chuck everything at it and see what sticks’ philosophy that was rather the fashion in the late 70’s/early 80’s, or certainly seemed to be, or maybe it was just people who went to college in the 60’s.

I've turned off the dark theme but not it's all a bit too bright. Lol
I think I'll go back to the dark theme.
I'm having trouble quoting too, only half what I paste is put in quotes. Odd.

Well spotted cougar, I turned on disable dark mode and it was normal but too bright so I turned it back off, hope it’s fixed soon.
