A Chinese scooter, OP.?

I had a Vespa and a Honda. Never a fault despite previous owners' abuse (and mine)..

Some of the most fun you can have on two wheels, but possibly not what you have in mind, in gardening mode below;

Don't get a classic!
Honestly, just don't.
Old Vespas rust horribly and all of them have been butchered and thrashed, repeatedly, by idiots.

Lambrettas are best treated as self propelled sculpture, barely able to putter from one garage of broken dreams to another.

The new Vespa PX's are really, really slow.
And let's face it, beautiful though they are, they are an ancient design that takes a bit of fettling.

If you look at modern Piaggio stuff on Autotrader, there are some amazing bargains - always a few immaculate 8 or 9 year, old one owner stuff amongst the dross.

Or get a Honda.
🙂

I really, inexplicably want one of these at the mo:

Honda MSX 125.

I have an LML/Vespa 150 two stroke which i bought second hand for a €1000 cant fault it really,the kid who had it from new before me did all the tinkering/deristricting so it goes plenty quick enough .I bought it because i wanted a classic looking scooter for doing errands on and going to the pub.
