I watched an episode earlier - really enjoyed it. Modern anxiety in the bodies of vikings 😆

Watched The Snowman (Jo Nesbø not Raymond Briggs) at the cinema this evening. That was funny in places, although I'm not sure that was the original intention..I'm sure it will be on Netflix very soon

"Norway" and "comedy". Not often you see those two linked.

while i remember, for those liking Scando movies, please try this one
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0236027/

and report back what you think, i am curious to see if its still funny if having to rely on reading subtitles.

It's quite dated, subtitles or no, seen as a foreigner.

My old Danish teacher insisted that I watch a bunch of old films and TV shows insisting that they were really good but they never were. More about the culture than the language.

Cheers DrJ, i always had a feeling a lot of the things which were funny was due to how its delivered in Danish but never found anyone not Danish that had watched it.

Did you get to watch Olsen Banden by any chance?

Watched all 6 episodes over the weekend, very good. Made slightly funnier by the female Viking that goes on the raiding parties looks like one of the spin instructors at my local gym, saw her tonight and just cracked up.
