Anybody know of a good free scale drawing package for some 3rd angle projection drawings? Don't need anything complicated, just need to do a few simple scale drawings of a building. Was hoping sketchup could be of use, but unfortnately not.

I use this to convert newer .dwg files back to autocad 2007 format.
Its a very close copy of autocad and is free.

Sketchup will do what you need.. why do you think it does not?
Also came across a package called Double Cad, is very like autocad even uses same commands and they do a free version. Only 2d is free, but of course you could draw a 3d rather than generate, use isometric drawing grid.
