Hi
Can anybody recommend some hostel/camping barn style accomodation that is convenient for being near to (or a short drive to) Scafell Pike? A pub nearby would be good, and there may be up to 7 of us.
I'm not having much luck with Google really... 😕

NT campsite at Wasdale Head
Pub at Wasdale Head does camping too IIRC. Handy for the best route up, provided not too many of the 3 Peaks muppets are doing something for charidee.

also a Langdale NT camp site ...there was lots of loud groups (1am to 2am) when I was there so I won't be rushing back
p.s. Wasdale side should be MUCH quieter....harder to get to
