The irony being, if we did have road tax for bikes, it would be the same as a Toyota Prius or small car ie free, so you still wouldn't pay anything.
Don't think that's irony footflaps, that's just VED for dummies*. First road commute for me for a while, almost got taken out by a dick in a fiesta burning up the bus lane to undertake a taxi driver who looked like he was already going close to the limit.
