My hard drive is knackered in my desktop and it has a SATA in there at the moment. Can I use a SATA II instead as I cannot find a SATA drive?

Thanks

Stuart

Yes, it'll just transfer slower.

Yes - it won't be slower than the original drive

If the MB supports SATA II then it'll run at the faster speed, otherwise it'll run at the slower SATA (I) speed IIRC.
