My wife has a prehistoric mobile phone on a basic O2 sim only contract and I'd quite like to get her something more decent for Christmas by way of an entry level smartphone.
O2 don't seem to do gift vouchers so I may have to pick one and am fairly clueless (my phone is even older than hers!).
She wouldn't want anything massive (some phones are now approaching tablet size) or overly complex and the Samsung Galaxy A3 looks affordable. Does anyone have any experience of these or anything else I should be considering (the Core Prime is a lot cheaper but looks well specced)?
I am writing this on an A3. I think there are better phones for the money out there like Sony M4. However I'm dead happy with mine. Small screen, 4G, takes SD card, on lollipop. However no replaceable battery. Takes a nano sim I think?
