Hi chaps,

I'm looking to upgrade my espresso machine, and looking at both Sage machines...

The Duo Temp and the Batista Express....

Has anyone one got either machines? I've already got a burr grinder, its not amazing, but grinds espresso grain fine.

What I can't work out is if the BE is worth the extra £130 over the Duo, for the grinder and 3 way solenoid....

Cheers

Rick's

Certainly a very nice looking machine. Don't know much about them personally but they appear to get good reviews and seem capable of some personalised adjustment to get things how you like them.

My only concern would be the 'celebrity' Heston Blumental name that has to be adding cost..... But looks capable if not prices machine

Let us know how it is if that's what you end up with

Yeah, they're rebranded Breville machines (Breville AUS, not to be confused with Breville UK who make sandwich toasters, as they're totally different compànies).

They're reduced with black Friday deals at the moment, hence my interest 🙂

The additional rub, is the Batista version comes with a Sage Juicer as a free item to redeem.
