Bugger. I’ve always wanted a Saab and didn’t get one because:-
1) They had gone bump and I wasn’t prepared to take the risk of non-availability of spares.
2) I’ve got to freight the in laws about a bit now so I need 6 seats.
However… as they are back the S-Max is up for sale and the wife’s parents can get the bus.

Fingers crossed...
are you a dentist?
If they can design them to be cool AND go round corners, I reckon they might be onto a winner.
Excellent, loved all three of mine. And yes I'm a designer, all those years of advertising on the inside front cover of Creative Review worked, sucker.
very good, although they need to re-design in a hatchback. Previous 900 written off, current 900 getting a bit long in the tooth.
Not a dentist or indeed a creative, BTW.. 🙂
Got 2 saab's here. 9000 Aero and a classic 900i. Parts are not a problem for them yet and won't be for some time. Spares are still being made.
I've never been in a better motorway car than my 9k. But I might have to swap it for a 4x4 soon 🙁
I had a 1999 9-3 SE Turbo and it is the only car I miss.
It was by no means perfect but it was so comfy and the boot would swallow bikes. The sunroof made everything nice and bright and the night driving mode is brilliant.
I really hope it works out for them.
Some of you peotrol heads may be disappointed,
Could be quite a turning point if they are planning on developing a full zero-carbon range....bought by a Chinese-Swedish investment group, National Electric Vehicle Sweden (Nevs), last year.
My current 9k aero..

Best seats I ever sat in.

I didnt realise Vauxhall had even stopped making cars 😆

Good modern rubber made a massive difference, my 9-5 Aero isn't exactly sporty in the handling department though it is quick.
I quite like the quotes on that BBC piece. Sounds very sensible.
The new 5s go for silly cheap money for what they are, although it doesn't sound like they are producing that at first.
Just let my 1999 9-3 go for £100 🙁 ( needed rid asap)
Used to have a 2002 9-3 SE Turbo - lovely car in a not so lovely brown colour.
Yeap, the only people to turn to are the Chinese.
The dragon will soon devour the slayer and then spit bones out. 😆
I test drove a 9-3 Aero Conv about 5 years ago, I then went to BMW and bought an M3 Conv....
Nice enough car but not worth the money they were asking for it.
Glad they're back, I quite liked the 9-3 concept Faux 4x4 thing they were peddling back in 2009/10 but it never came to anything, shame really.
according to my tame Saab mechanic, what would have been prohibitive cost of replacement (though not new) engines and clutches etc a handful of years ago is now economic due to so many getting scrapped !
which means mine (900S new shape) might yet run for a few more years yet..
