The portable jet wash thread got me thinking. I need a new hedge trimmer, strimmer and cordless drill, so thinking of going cordless for all. If I went for the Worx, I could then get their hydroshot which would be handy, but they don't do a hedge trimmer with an extending handle like Ryobi. Conversely, Ryobi don't seem to do a portable jet wash...

Has anyone got one of these battery systems, or an opinion on which is best...?

One of my guys used Ryobi+ impact and combi on site and they worked well for years. Someone will correct me no doubt but I think Worx stuff comes in green or orange, one being DIY grade and the other trade. But I guess you'll only be using it once a week at most.

We have the Worx stuff in the camper. Started with the Hydroshot a few years ago which is as good as it gets for bike cleaning and the solar roof panel.
Added a drill and impact driver later as they were a good price and small and compact.
They all fit under a shelf and out of the way in the garage.

Got the Ryobi drill and impact driver. Which are more robust but cost double the price. Also got the angle grinder and chainsaw which no girl should be without.

Have a worx hydroshot and strimmer. Both very good, I'll probably replace my other stuff with worx as needed.

I'd add though that having spare swapable batteries is nice enough, it's not often that I need this capability.
