Just trying to get into a bit of running now it has cooled down a bit and got darker and was wandering what runners' mapping sites were most recommended?
Have seen Map my Run but seems a bit US based and also just found Good Run Guide which seems more UK based.
Unlike biking i do not want to haul around a GPS just a watch.
Cheers

I use Gpsies.com for mapping a route in advance and upload the .tcx to my garmin 305 forerunner watch to follow a breadcrumb style route, or just record the route if I know where I'm going or am just exploring

Are you after a site for logging or planning runs? For planning runs try Bikehike includes Google Maps and 1:50k OS so good for planning off road (just click on 'Course Creator')
All my runs are logged on Endomondo using a Garmin Forerunner (great bit of kit for running)

Edit: bikehike will export (and import) routes in the usual GPS file formats
