And only for federal crimes, not state crimes. I'm not sure what court this case was tried in, but it would have to be a federal court for Trump to be able to issue a pardon.
However, that doesn't cover just ignoring the court and using the federal bureaucracy to harass judges, lawyers, etc. until they give up trying to collect.

I'm struggling to lose too much sleep. On the eve of the next Trump presidency I think it's a useful reminder to those thinking about hopping on that particular train for personal gain, what it looks like to be the detritus.
