Let’s see your rubbish trees, it can be your local town one, your own, work one or once you’ve seen shared on Facebook.

I’ll seat with this entry.

Pot grown, wonky, home made decorations where possible, decorated by teenagers. 👌

Excellent thread - I massively prefer these over the "too perfect" ones, but I'd never get away with it in this house...

I wish I could get away with that too.

Is that last year's photo? 😉

Yessum. That tree finally died this summer - I threw the twig that was left out in October.

For first time in 8-10 years we have paid for a tree, arrives today.

From my home town a few years ago. The ‘local’ councillors are way up their own arses, the town is not the one I was brought up in. So this produced much humour to those who grew up in the town.

@Drac - was that for a Xmas wedding? It has more than a hint of wedding dress about it

Our office one lives in a pot. The year we got it after the frivolities were over the office manager decided topop it in the beds outside.

One day later in the year the bed were trimmed as part of the landscaping maintenance of the estate. Took the top clean off. Next year did we get a new tree? No we did not.

@Drac that tree is immense. Maybe not beautiful but it’s a thing of wander.

She Who Must Be Obeyed informs me that we will get a "tree for life" (my words) from next year when we have moved house.

God knows how much it will cost to pay someone to babysit a tree for the foreseeable, and how will they stop it growing too big?

I'm secretly hoping for an outcome similar to MOAA's in a few years time.

That would make it acceptable but no it’s just full on tack,

We need to extend this thread to include the neighbours outdoor lights and inflatable snowman…

Why not.
