Wasn't quite a Paxman-esque grilling was it? The guy seemed to suggest only stuff going via air was likely to be exploded. I emailed a link to the monster thread from here, mentioning items also being sold on rather than 'destroyed'. Doubt anything will come of it. Very soft piece.
For some reason Y&Y is very cosy with Royal Mail. Happy to have them on to talk about their latest special issue stamps for example. Quite a lot of the programme seems to be a thinly veiled puff for some product or other.
If you want to get a free plug on Y&Y, issue a press release saying sales of X are up 50% this year and they'll invite you on to talk about the sudden fashion for X.
Wonder if there are a few of these helmets available on that ebay account posted in the lost shock thread.
