Brabantia or John Lewis for the win?

Needing a big and robust one, doesn't need to fold up regularly.

Brabantia, we have had one for years, pretty bomb proof

Had a non-name - died after 20 years. Replaced with Brabantia one - well built, if it lasts another 20 years it'll outlast me.

Get a zip over cover for it and it will look like new for years

Barbantia one in our garden gets battered by the wind funneled down the side of the house.
Not broke yet in 8 years.

Are they not called whirly-gigs any more?
Can't fault our brabantia, 15 years old and still does what it should

May as well get the best. Strong enough for kids can use it as whirlygig with no problem.

Brabantia still going strong after years. Really sturdy mount that took some effort to get in to the lawn! The cover is worth investing in though our cover is looking a little sun bleached. My only minor complaint would be it's a little short (for me at 6'3) and i usually end up with washing line to the face when hanging clothes out.

I've spent years of my life wondering what rotary washing line our neighbours had back in 1972. It was industrial with a handle to rotate it and I'd never seen one before and haven't since.

Now thanks to this @hot_fiat and Google my 48 years of sleepless nights are over.
