Small crack in my roofbox - hoping I can apply some tape to the inside to at least make it almost waterproof
Any suggestions as to what tape to use that isn't going to peel off every 5 minutes?
rough it up (not a good kick in the hinges) and a couple of layers of fibre glass?
Fibre glass repair kit on the inside?
Edit: beaten to it
A decent car body repair shop could weld it but to be honest id just duck tape it, if you don't want the crack to propagate then drill out the ends with a 1-2mm bit.
I think you can get some Duck tape for about eight quid...

Superglue and duck tape!
Look up plastic and fibreglass repairers in your area. A fairing on a Ducati 900ss only cost me £15 to be repaired and a further £40 for re-spray if you want it. Results were perfect.
If you are leeds area give me a ring. I can repair fibreglass for you. Www.expresscarbodywork.com 07429568079.
Are they fibreglass or vinyl, these things? Plastic welding's actually a really simple technique, either with heat or solvent but you need to know that it's a material that'll work.
