Apparently there are firms apart from Thule who make Roofbars/Bike Racks/Load Stops that are compatible with Thule T-Tracks. (20mm IIRC.)
Is that correct?
Which manufacturers?
TIA.
I'm sure it must be a pretty standard fitting. I have Alfa branded bars on my car and the Thule bike carriers fit on perfectly with the t-tracks.
I got some G3 CLOP Steel roof bars from www.micksgarage.com which were compatible with the t-track fittings on my Atera Giro bike rack. Atera is another brand which would be compatible.
Any t-track style bar should work with 20mm x 20mm t-tracks.
Cruz
Rhino
The recent Aldi ones (?)
To add to the above, my Exodus roof box with Exodus branded T track adapters fit perfectly on my Thule roof bars, so seems to be a pretty standard fitting.
think there's only two sizes 20 (most) & 24mm (kamei?). Roofbox sell t-track bolts that are 20x24mm so you can use in either.
The only one I’ve ever seen mentioned as different (after doing lots of research on various sites) is the BMW own brand rails which seem to take a different T track shape but you can buy new bolts for bike holders so you can mix and match if you have BMW rails.
The Aldi/Lidl ones I have (made by an Italian company who's name escapes me) have a smaller T-Track size. (15mm IIRC.)
Exodus is useful - thanks.
I had some M-Way brand on an Astra estate that I used the t-track kit on.... came from roofbox.co.uk IIRC.
