All of the felt (?) under the tiles in my loft has come away around the soil stack leaving a large gap. It’s only a matter of time (if it hasn’t already happened!) before an animal makes a home up there..
Can anyone recommend a material/approach to patching this up please? I’m imagining some sort of massive roll of duct tape for roofs if that makes sense.
Thanks in advance

What animals are you expecting to move in that haven't done so already?
Suitable size off cut of kingspan/cellotex etc from FB market place. Cut to fit between the rafters, cut in half then cut 2 semi circles to accommodate soil pipe and secure in place using small battens.
Or just tape the life out of it, tape may fail in a yr or so.
Thank you @bruneep good shout on the kingspan. Mate of mine is getting big extension done down the road, I shall nip down and politely ask for a bit or do a bit of skip diving..
