I have killed my Cero front rim brake wheel off my road bike last night. It has had a good innings and isn't worth respoking and truing. I have a nearly new Mavic Ksyrium Elite on the rear and would love to pair it with something similar. I am currently 15 stone working on getting back down to 14 stone so need something that is fairly strong. Don't need crazy light and certainly don't need Carbon under 700g would be ideal. If I have to buy a pair of wheels and sell the new rear wheel then so be it.
Best I hve foudn so far is Rose bikes but they won't ship to the UK any more.

Have a look at Merlin for a pair of DT Swiss wheels, looks like they have PR1600s in both 23 and 32 depth rims. 350 hubs, 120kg weight limit.
I went for Hope Hubs on Mavic Open Pro Rims with 32 spokes. Cost me about £350 for the pair. They're bombproof and I'm 17st. So you could easily go down to 28 front and rear.
Do it properly - set of Royce hubs and then hand built onto a nice set of rims.
Love my Royce - they ain't going anywhere ever. Great service from the guys also over the years as well
When my rear Mavic Ksyrium broke, I replaced it with a Mavic Aksium. Very similar, slightly different spokes.
What's your budget? Most decent wheelbuilders should be able to put something together that will rival a Ksyrium in weight and price, and will probably be stiffer and more durable and made with parts that are designed to be replaceable if / when you crash / wear out the rim.
Bear in mind a Ksyrium is built to a weight point too - if you're a heavier rider or just want more resilience, a build with more spokes is not a bad idea.
Get in touch with Pete at Owen Wheels (that's me 😉 ), although several other independent wheelbuilders will be able to build you something - DCR, Strada, RyanBuildsWheels, Just Riding Along, Arkane... to name just a handful.
