looking to go for some late sun in Sept and wouldnt mind hitting the roads. Any suggestions on good bike freindly destinations?

Check out Cycle Oregon. It's a five hundred week long support ride around a different part of the state each year. Usually the second week in September. Lots of climbing so it is plenty challenging. 2000 riders.

My favourite September destinations are Provence, I stay around Vaison La Romaine, lots of nice riding and you've got Ventoux. Or the Drome, somewhere close to the climbs of the Vercors.

Should have said, looking for a hol destination with some riding not a riding only hol/training camp type of arrangement. Just after a few days hire & riding.
