Met him over 20 years ago on a job for a mate of his. Seemed a well grounded and approachable guy. Will be missed by many.
Probably more than johndoh at any rate.

First work of his I ever heard was music for the TV program "Cosmos" back in the 70's.

I liked lots of his stuff, including his work with Jon Anderson. Will have a listen tomorrow.

Given how popular the film is, this needs to be here also.

Along with Four Horsemen, this is another amazing track off 666.

It's a truly bonkers album. Listened to it all last night for the first time, having only heard the well known tracks off it before. It is mad.

Like most people, I got into his music through the undeniably iconic film soundtracks. I only posted the Aphrodite`s Child tracks as a reminder of a full, varied and interesting musical life. What a man. RIP.

Sad news.

When I first heard Find My Way Home, I almost cried. I just didn't know what was happening to me. The music and vocals were so monumentally uplifting and bright yet melancholic they filled all my senses.

RIP Sir.

Ive finished hundreds of races to the chariots of fire theme (which is a fantastic piece of work if a bit tiresome after a while)

Two classics with Jon Anderson
