Tough watch but fascinating so far.

More to him than I realised.

amazing program. Feel very sorry for him. Seems a very honest bloke, so unlike his perceived persona.

He was interviewed on 5Live this afternoon, only caught the end but also excellent.

He really didn't come across as I expected. Seemed quite grounded and painfully honest. Clearly trying to do the best he can for his kids.

Just watched it. Agree with the above, he came across as a decent guy.
Fingers crossed for him and his family for the future.

Good programme, tough to watch but couldn't tear myself away from it (it got very dusty in the room at times).

Always thought he was a bit of an idiot when he was playing but it's completely changed my view of him. Very brave to take on such a show and open up like he did, and he seems like a decent guy and a good dad. Can't imagine how I'd handle it in his place.

Agree with all the comments above. He's been through a terrible time and has serious guts to do all that on camera.

I only caught the last 10 mins so will watch on catch up.

Anyone know what the track was that closed the programme (when he was jogging down the road)?

A tough watch but glad I did. Very frank, almost like the film making was his therapy.
I need to watch something lighthearted tomorrow after watching a programme about Syrian war crimes the night before.

Seemed painfully honest and frank. He came across very well - his concern for his children over himself was so obvious.
