Ok, we were hoping to get the right to buy on our house.
We've almost been there the 5 years, so asked a visiting council lady how we went about it.
She's told us we wont be eligible, that's was a right kick in the proverbial's as we've put a lot of effort into the garden and house. We thought a quick attic conversion for a third bedroom and we're in a house for life. We were told when we moved in we would be eligible after 5 years.
I've googled and looked on the government website but i can't find any info.
We can't buy ours because of a rural exclusion, this was brought in by some "government legislation".
We've heard nowt, can anybody shed any light on it? There's sure to be someone here with the relevant expertise!
